Since as we all were eagerly waiting for monsoon season and as it has arrived. So it's time for a good book or a movie & delicious food.

The monsoon in India always has a unique story. It drizzles to the tune of your favorite song. Chili powder and a cup of hot tea quench your appetite. And the craving for your favorite hot spicy food!

Delicious biryani is made from grated meat, almonds, raisins, curd, onions, garlic, ginger, saffron. This is your favorite special dish. You are very happy when you eat.

Keema Biryani

Ingredients Required for making Keema biryani:-

  1. Ghee -1 tbsp
  2. Oil-1tbsp
  3. Onion -1 no chopped
  4. Green chili-1 no chopped
  5. Ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp
  6. Tomato-2 nos chopped
  7. Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  8. Chili powder-2 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Minced meat -500 gm
  11. Yoghurt-1/2 cup
  12. Few mint leaves
  13. Few coriander leaves
  14. Saffron milk
  15. Dough to seal
  16. For fried onions
  17. Oil-1/4 cup
  18. Onion - 4 nos thinly sliced
  19. Basmati rice-500 gm ( soaked for 30 min )
  20. Salt - 2 tsp
  21. Bay leaf- 2 nos
  22. Green cardamon
  23. Black cardamon
  24. Piece of mace/javitri
  25. Star anise - 1 no
  26. Piece of cinnamon
  27. Few clove
  28. Oil - 1 tsp

    Procedure for making Keema biryani:-

    1. Take a pan and heat oil in it and add onion and fry till brown.
    2. Bring water to a boil, then add soaked basmati rice, salt, bay leaf, green or black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, oil. And cook 3/4 of the rice.
    3. Remove excess water from the rice, and put it in a bowl.
    4. To the pot add ghee, oil onion green chili & saute it
    5. once the onion is transparent & ginger garlic paste saute till brown
    6. Add tomato, turmeric powder chili powder,garam masala
    7. Add yogurt and mix well close & cook for another 15 min.
    8. check for seasoning keep the flame low spread the meat evenly
    9. Add some mint leaves for getting extra taste, also add coriander leaves, fried onion & finally add cooked rice.
    10. Sprinkle Mint And coriander leaves, For getting better test and also add saffron in Milk fried onions
    11. Now close the lid and put the dough on it, seal it and leave it for 10 minutes
    12. Turn off the GAS & keep in dum for another 5 min
    13. Break - open the seal & drizzle with ghee gently mix.
